Jason Schick is the Founder and Managing Director of Heartland Mortgage, with experience spanning production homebuilders, retail lending, and financial advisory roles. As a former Vice President of Mortgage for a national production homebuilder, he worked directly inside new-construction communities, gaining firsthand insight into what it takes to keep contracts moving and homes closing on time. Earlier in his career, Jason worked at a large national retail lender and spent nearly a decade as a financial advisor, helping clients make confident, long-term financial decisions.

Jason believes a mortgage should support, not restrict, a buyer’s broader financial goals. Rather than focusing solely on rates or products, he takes a consultative approach, helping clients understand how their home financing fits into their long-term plans, cash flow, and life milestones. His goal is to structure mortgages that make sense not just at closing, but years down the road.

Alex Wilkinson is the Operations Director at Heartland Mortgage, bringing more than a decade of experience in residential lending and mortgage operations. He has worked with a wide range of homebuyers, from first-time purchasers to experienced homeowners and investors, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

In addition to advising clients, Alex plays a key role in overseeing loan operations and internal workflows, ensuring that every file moves smoothly from application through closing. His background in both origination and operations allows him to bridge the gap between the borrower experience and behind-the-scenes execution. At Heartland Mortgage, he is focused on building a process that is organized, transparent, and dependable, so buyers, builders, and partners can count on clear communication and consistent results at every stage.
