Jason Schick is the Founder and Managing Director of Heartland Mortgage, a company built on one simple idea: the mortgage process should be intentional, straightforward, and centered around the buyer's bigger picture. Before founding Heartland, Jason served as Vice President of Mortgage for a national production homebuilder, working directly inside communities and learning exactly what it takes to keep contracts moving and closings on time. That rare combination of sitting on the builder's side of the table while thinking like a financial advisor is what Heartland was built on.

Alex Wilkinson is the Operations Director at Heartland Mortgage, bringing more than a decade of experience in residential lending and mortgage operations. He has worked with a wide range of homebuyers, from first-time purchasers to experienced homeowners and investors, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

In addition to advising clients, Alex plays a key role in overseeing loan operations and internal workflows, ensuring that every file moves smoothly from application through closing. His background in both origination and operations allows him to bridge the gap between the borrower experience and behind-the-scenes execution. At Heartland Mortgage, he is focused on building a process that is organized, transparent, and dependable, so buyers, builders, and partners can count on clear communication and consistent results at every stage.

Emily combines technical precision with relationship-driven leadership at Heartland Mortgage.

With a background in IT systems and contract management, Emily brings structure, clarity, and attention to detail to every loan she handles. Her ability to analyze complex documentation and anticipate potential issues allows her to deliver clean approvals and smooth closings for her clients.

As Market Relations Director, Emily also leads Heartland’s community engagement efforts, actively building relationships through MIBOR, Chamber events, and local networking initiatives across Central Indiana. She focuses on developing meaningful partnerships with realtors, builders, and buyers — turning connections into opportunity.

Emily believes great lending is proactive, precise, and built on trust
